President's Message

Paget Minerals is pleased to begin 2012 with a new strategy that focuses on the Ball Creek Project in BC's Golden Triangle -- Iskut Mining District. The project covers over 52 square kilometers and is the most accessible project in the entire district, located just 8 km west of Highway 37 and 36 kilometers from the Northwest Transmission Line transfer station at Bob Quinn. The Ball Creek Project contains five porphyry targets and four high-grade epithermal targets. The Company is well positioned to move ahead on an aggressive exploration program at Ball Creek in 2012 and beyond, and looks forward to updating shareholders on its progress going forward.

In addition to Paget's flagship project in BC, Canada, the company is evaluating four gold properties in Sonora, Mexico through an agreement with Sundance Minerals. Exploration will begin on three priority targets as early as possible in 2012.

Paget's equity holding of 8.3 million shares in Trident Gold is significant in that Trident is planning an IPO in 2012. Our relationship with Trident allows for possible entry into specific projects in Colombia on option or joint venture terms.

We look forward to a successful year ahead with quality projects in these favorable mining districts. Stay tuned for more from Paget!

Sincerely,

David F. Volkert
